 OUR MISSION

It is the mission of Lakeside Karate to teach the Art of Karate in a manner that impacts the lives of each student through helping them discover the nature of their character, the meaning of hard work and the ability to achieve more than they expected.

Lakeside Karate was created for you, the student, to bring the benefits of martial arts instruction to your lives. Lakeside Karate's classes empower children and adults to work both physically and mentally on improving their Focus, Self-Discipline and overall Fitness. We inspire students to persevere with our challenging workouts and thus build life skills that are used in school, or at work to overcome adversity and achieve personal success.

   Lakeside Karate History

Lakeside Karate was established in August of 2005 in Lyndonville NY where it continues to evolve and grow.  The current location of the dojo on main street was dedicated with the following statement from Sensei George Kiefer.

"As the Chief Instructor at Lakeside Karate I must not forget those who shaped my life, leading me to this moment of opening a Karate Dojo. With this in mind I would like to dedicate Lakeside Karate to the following:

George V. Kiefer (My father):

For teaching me dedication and responsibility

Sensei Jim Grafe:

For his lessons in respect and the meaning of friendship

Barb A. Kiefer:

For showing me how to have Faith in myself and all things

And last to every student; Past, Present and Future for having the courage to embark on the “Way” if only for a moment or for a lifetime.
